Repairing an inner tube requires the following steps:
1. First, use a pry bar to pry open the outer tire of the electric bike. This requires some force, but don't use too much force to avoid damaging the good tire.
2. Then, wearing gloves, slowly pull the inner tube out of the outer tire until the entire inner tube is removed.
3. Inflate the tire fully and locate the puncture. Use a file to roughen the tire around the puncture area. This increases the adhesion of the adhesive. Just roughen it to a certain extent. Because the inner tube is relatively thin, don't use too much force.
4. Prepare a patch. Apply adhesive and spread it evenly across different parts of the tire. Once the adhesive is almost no longer sticky, carefully attach the patch. Be careful not to stick it crookedly.
5. Gently tap around the edges with a hammer, or press it down with your hand to make the adhesion stronger and more secure. Don't use too much force; just make sure it's firmly attached.
6. Then inflate the inner tube fully and check for any leaks. If there are no leaks, deflate the inner tube and insert it into the outer tire. Use a pry bar to secure the tire to the inside of the wheel and inflate it fully. That's how to repair an inner tube.
