Quality Management

Vimia applies quality control from incoming materials through tube forming, valve assembly, vulcanization and finished-product release. The control route combines process measurements, finished-tube inflation inspection and batch-linked records so the production lot can be traced back to its manufacturing and inspection data.

Incoming Material Inspection

Butyl Rubber and Compound Inputs
Material identity, lot information, packaging condition and visible contamination are checked before material moves into the compounding area. Released lots remain identifiable through the production batch.

 

Valve and Component Verification
Valve type, stem configuration and component condition are matched to the scheduled tube specification before assembly. This prevents a correct tube size from being paired with the wrong valve format.

 

Lot Separation Before Production
Incoming material lots are kept identifiable when they enter production so later process and finished-product records can be connected to the corresponding production lot.

 

In-Process Quality Control

 

The critical controls are placed where tube geometry, joint integrity and valve position are created. Measurements and process records are taken during forming, assembly and vulcanization rather than relying only on final inspection.

Wall Thickness and Tube Geometry

Wall thickness, circumference and section width are measured after forming and curing against the approved product specification. These checks identify uneven forming or dimensional drift before the lot reaches packing.

Splice and Valve Base

Inspectors check splice alignment, bonding coverage, valve position and the area around the valve base. For motorcycle and reinforced constructions, batch samples are also used for splice-tension and valve-pull checks before release.

Vulcanization by Construction

Curing conditions are controlled by tube construction. Thicker motorcycle and off-road tubes use dedicated curing records so the increased wall section is processed consistently rather than using one setting for every product.

 

 

Finished Product Testing

100% Inflation Inspection
Every finished tube is inflated before packing.


Leakage, Valve Sealing and Shape
Inflated tubes are inspected for air leakage, abnormal deformation, valve sealing and visible surface defects. A tube with an inflation defect is separated before packing.

 

Batch Performance Tests
Batch testing covers pressure retention and mechanical properties relevant to inner-tube service. For motorcycle products, the published control program includes tensile and elongation performance, flex fatigue and heat-aging checks.

 

Dimensional Release
Finished dimensions, valve position and product marking are checked against the approved specification so the packed SKU corresponds to the intended tire and rim application.

Quality Standards and Batch Traceability

The quality system connects the approved product specification, manufacturing records and inspection results to the production lot. This gives each released batch a documented reference rather than treating final inspection as a stand-alone activity.

 

ISO 9001

Vimia states that its manufacturing facility operates under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Production and inspection activities are organized from incoming material intake through finished-product dispatch within the same quality-control framework.

Approved Specification

For OEM and ODM production, the confirmed specification and approved sample form the production reference. Size, valve configuration, construction, printing and packaging are checked against those approved files before order release.
