E-bike inner tubes are fitted inside tube-type tires used on electric two-wheelers and light electric mobility vehicles. They hold the air pressure while allowing the tire and tube to be serviced or replaced separately. Applications include city and cargo e-bikes, electric scooters, mopeds, mobility scooters, delivery vehicles, and other small-wheel electric vehicles with pneumatic tires.

Valve Options

 

Schrader / AV. AV valves are used on e-bikes built with standard bicycle rims and an automotive-style valve hole. They are common on city, folding, cargo, and fat-tire e-bike wheels.

 

TR4 Straight Valve. TR4 valves fit many moped, mobility-scooter, and light electric-vehicle rims where the valve hole can be reached from the outside. The straight stem gives direct access for inflation and valve-core servicing.

 

JS87 / JS87C Bent Valve. Bent stems are used on compact scooter wheels and hub-motor layouts where a pump cannot connect easily to a straight valve. The required angle and stem direction are confirmed from a rim drawing or a physical sample.

Manufacturing Ability

 

Current production covers 8- and 10-inch scooter formats, 14- and 16-inch e-bike formats, and light-vehicle sizes including 3.00-4, 3.00-8, 3.00-10, and 3.00-12. Mixed diameters, section widths, and straight or bent valve assemblies can be arranged within the same production base.

 

Tube walls in the current e-bike and scooter series are typically 0.9 to 1.2 mm thick. Extrusion, splice preparation, valve-base bonding, and vulcanization settings are adjusted for repeated flexing, higher vehicle weight, and the heat produced during frequent acceleration and braking.

 

Rubber compounding, forming, curing, inspection, and packing are all completed at the 33,000 m² site. Annual capacity is more than 20 million tubes. Established models are normally scheduled for shipment within one month after the order and artwork are approved.

Quality Control
 

Inspectors measure wall thickness, circumference, section width, and splice overlap against the approved model. Small-diameter tubes are also checked after curing for folds, local thinning, and shape distortion.

 

Straight and bent valves are checked for base adhesion, angle, direction, and clearance against the specified rim. Incorrect positioning can make inflation difficult or concentrate stress around the valve hole.

 

Finished tubes are fully inflated and checked for leakage before packing. Batch samples undergo air-retention, flex-fatigue, heat-aging, valve-pull, and pressure-cycling checks. Third-party pre-shipment inspection can also be arranged.

Customization Options

Size, section width, and circumference can be matched to an existing tire marking or an approved drawing. The available programs cover compact scooter wheels, standard e-bike wheels, mopeds, mobility scooters, and wide utility tires.

 

Wall thickness can be specified within the current 0.9-1.2 mm production range. Standard, reinforced, climate-resistant, and self-sealing versions are available for different vehicle programs.

 

Private-label options include tube-body logos, size markings, batch codes, instruction labels, color boxes, polybags, multi-piece packs, and printed master cartons.

What is the production lead time?

Custom samples normally take about seven days after the drawing, size, valve, compound, and marking are approved. Established models usually ship within one month after the order, artwork, and payment terms are confirmed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces per order. Different sizes may be combined in one production program when the specifications and packing method are confirmed before scheduling.

What inflation pressure should be used?

Follow the pressure limits given by the tire, vehicle, and rim manufacturers. An inner tube does not determine the maximum pressure on its own, so the lowest stated limit among those three components must be used.

Can a standard bicycle tube replace an e-bike tube?

A standard bicycle tube is suitable only when the tire size, section width, valve type, rim-hole position, and permitted load range all match. A thin tube should not replace a wider or heavier-duty e-bike or scooter tube because overstretching and valve-base stress can cause early failure.
