Our thickened scooter inner tube is an upgraded version of our standard tube. The wall thickness goes from 0.9mm to 1.2mm. We designed this product for poor road conditions and high-frequency use. It keeps the excellent air retention of butyl rubber. The extra thickness greatly improves puncture resistance. This product handles broken glass, gravel, nails, and other debris much better. We created our product after a European shared scooter customer told us about their problem. Their city had many cobblestone streets. Standard 0.9mm tubes had a high failure rate. We used their usage data to develop this 1.2mm thickened scooter inner tube. After three months of testing, the customer's monthly tube replacement rate dropped by over 40%.
